Hello everyone, Found this place while chasing a rabbit hole about microtonal tuning in game audio, and it turned out to be exactly the kind of corner of the internet I miss. Short version about me: I do sound design for small studios, mostly interface and feedback sounds, which is a strange craft because nobody is supposed to consciously notice your work. Lately I have been collecting examples of games that use non-standard tunings for tension cues rather than the usual pitch-shifted stingers. The other half of my listening time goes to jingles in casual games. They are compressed to death, but the melodic tricks in them are surprisingly disciplined, and the good ones survive being heard three hundred times an hour. Looking forward to reading the notation threads here, that section alone is worth the trip.

Hey there! So we're currently 107 members in the Exomusica discord , let me tell you what this is:

1) Exomusica is a collective of experimental artists, trying to find rare or new musical concepts, to use them in experimental music that still feels accessible. I'll attach the first concept batch from me, and a WIP from Bradestiot of the ⩽ Feedback Monsters v1 ⪖ album, as well as a WIP from me and tera of the ⩽ Virus-Core v1 ⪖ album (sound from viruses that destroy your pc).

It will develop into a sort of online laboratory of weird cool new music. So if you know an artist or you are someone who's interested in seeing or participating, feel free to join! When we have our first few albums, we'll start promoting a Digital Museum of New Tastes (exomusica.com). Alien music worlds that are accessible!

-> https://discord.gg/mHWhndVN7Y

Feel free to join (you can also participate via email) and give ideas or see what's happening. Next week, I'll start the structure work by giving everyone roles based on what they want to do (brainstorming, critique, active music maker, visual artists...)

2) additionally, i just released a concert video--
I started a Cosmic Cult at my Concert

Have a good day!!
Big thank you to Orion Stephens, Bradestiot, DuskDriver, tera, f298 for being active in the collective first.

Akasrav again! Here's a quick exomusical catch-up:

1) I've started a new international experimental collective called Exomusica (at https://exomusica.com), where we will explore the unknown and unseen of sonic capabilities, BUT always try to make it accessible. I'll let you know once the first two albums come out: Otoacoustic Poems Vol.1 and Electromagnetic Punk Vol.1 (they're scheduled to come right after Spiders from Space).

2) A community discord server is available here. If you wish to connect with other Tachy Bunker fans, and see lore & wip's in advance, feel free to come! Reminder that donations are available and will help tremendously fund the live project.
(paste this link if you don't see: https://discord.gg/Y36muQx4gn)

3) As I played most of Spiders from Space for the 2025 Halloween Party, I realized some tracks were a bit lacking, so I've decided to scrap them and restart new ones. The new gen SFS will still implant itself well into the old planned songs, but it's gonna be better than it was at the release party. It was filmed

Here are three new songs from SFS that dropped recently, for you to enjoy
Mv26: Tgelorian Party (5-6D) [feat. Anke Richards]
Mv18: Nadir Externati (x/Gnay)
Mv9: Apex Obscura (in-progress, but sketch is available)
☄️?

Akasrav, my friend!!
As you may know, I said the Spiders from Space album will release around the 31st October. It's very soon!!
Tomorrow I will host a release party with a first CD version on-site, sold to those who are here.

-- CD and DVD's will be available for shipping soon!! Tell me if you want one --
-- I attached the booklet for previewing --

As for the online version of the album, I just want to let a bit of time pass and make sure no detail is left imperfect for myself. So give it a few days until you all receive the notification that the album is out.

In the meantime, know that tomorrow is a 2h30 filmed Release Party that will eventually be edited into an immersive concert movie!! The lore will also be released separately in an interactive way, and I have 2 albums just waiting to be finished right after this one

New release: Tissu de l'Infinité (37edo & JI)

Happy Halloween!!
